Candice Cummings

Candice is a dedicated and experienced Group Lead Supervisor for Substance and Mental Health Facilitation, and a proud member of the Navajo Nation. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Counseling with an Emphasis in Chemical, Substance, and Alcohol Abuse at Grand
Canyon University.

Now in her second year of study, she is already making meaningful contributions to the field through a strong blend of academic knowledge and handson experience.

With certifications including a Peer Support Specialist Certificate and Addiction Counselor Trainee Recognition, Candice brings a wellrounded understanding of addiction counseling, peer support, and recovery oriented care. Her commitment to professional growth and her passion for
holistic wellness guide her work with individuals and families.

In her role as a Group Lead Supervisor, Candice uses her education, training, and lived experience to create supportive, empowering group environments. She is known for her empathy,
leadership, and ability to foster collaboration and resilience among both her team and the clients she serves.

Candice is committed to staying informed about the latest research and best practices in the field,
ensuring that her approach remains effective, ethical, and client centered. Through her education,
certifications, and practical experience, she continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of
individuals navigating substance use disorders and mental health challenges.
